The European Railway Rule provides that you shall notify the need for assistance at least 24 hours before the journey. If you miss the deadline, the carrier or station manager will still make reasonable efforts to allow you to travel as planned.

ČD lists for national travel the ordering at least 24 hours before departure; for trips to or from abroad, request contact no later than 36 hours before departure. The assistance may include orientation at an unknown railway station, escort to the train and assist when boarding or leaving.

  • How long do you have to transfer?
  • What do you do when the first train is late?
